Good God
We come from nothing,
Nothings promised,
Break our bodies for this money,
Hit that belly everyday,
Not too many options for my people
So we pray
Hustle Hustle Hustle
Hoping one day He go pay
I wonder where the sun is
We’ve been standing in the rain
When the times get bitter reach in deeper for your
Sugar

WHERE GEOMETRY IS SACRED
After the arduous 5 portrait piece that became "Where Geometry is Sacred" i put a promo video together that also took a remarkable amount of time. I guess because this time I went through the effort of remixing the audio myself. Yes, I like to and can produce music.Â

MAJESTY

NINA SIMONE LIVE
Rare footage of Nina Simone performing an extended version of "I Wish I Knew Wow It Would Feel to Be Free" at the Village Gate Nightclub, New York City in the late 60's. You can hear her energise the crowd to sing along with her "cos I know". In this moment she brought us freedom.

Yesterday I experimented with time travel. My destination was set to random and I found myself in North Carolina in the mid 1960's (I can't give the exact year because I would only be able to do that if time was absolute). During my visit I met a fun group of festival goers that looked after me and taught me all about their town and culture. They were interested in the culture and music from where I come from. I played them this tune that I had on me, produced by my dear friend and beats producer thatmanmonkz, in August 2020. They loved it, "Oh Patty, you sure know how to get a foot stomping" they said to me. I left shortly after the festival and made it back this morning. I'm exhausted and going to catch up on lost time. Here's some footage from my visit.
